A Place...Ministries has been busy lately! Sorry that we have not updated the blog for a little while. We have been doing a lot of things though, and here is a little snipet about what has been going on with Nampa First Church twentysomethings stuff.
Well, we made bibs the other day. Yes, that's right - bibs. One of our ministries is with SCISM Teen Parent School, and they needed bibs. So bibs we delivered! We took one of our Thursday nights, and we spent the entire time making bibs. We made about 40 bibs out of dish towels. It was great!
We also had a little Halloween party (I know, I know, Thanksgiving is right around the corner...that is how late this blog report is!). The Halloween Party was two-fold. We did one party out at Farmway Village with the kids of that community. We had a blast playing games with the kids and handing out copious amounts of candy. It was a great time. Then we traversed back to church to have a little party of our own. We played ping-pong, ate little Smokies, and had a little costume contest. So contrary to popular Christian opinion, this Halloween was not the devil's play-thing, but it was a great time of fellowship and fun!
